2009 - 2010

My retrospective on 2009

• love: we started the first half very wrong, but luckely realized in time that we don't need Barcelona to get the barcelona-feeling
• family: remaind as always superfun and caring
• friends: revived old, refound lost and made new
• professional: found my drive again and confirmed what I do best

I hope 2010 will continue like 2009 ended!
For all my readers, me and my soon-to-be husband wish a year full of confidence and love.

moodboard wedding

As always I spent my first days of holiday sick at home - after being totally relaxed, the fatigue takes control.

But this created the perfect occasion to finally think about my upcoming wedding - hence my moodboard.
I've totally pictured how it will be; where before I didn't even thought about it or made plans, I'm now in
a mood full of ideas and planning!

Our date is set: Y 06 12 10 Y (the twelfth of June two thousand and ten)

Better watch out baby, cause I'm turning into a bridezilla...

A busy week: 3 days of work (trying to finish more then was possible), lots of delay due to the snow,

running around for last christmaspresents and even now I'm still preparing my desserts for this evening.
On the menu: applecrumble, sachertorte and swedish cinnamonbiscuits. After today my relaxweek starts!

winterboots

I've bought myself a pair of solid winterboots. Winter really started in Belgium, meaning snow and temperatures -10°C.
My collection of pumps: how lovely and pretty they all are, they just weren't a match for this kind of weather.

Don't worry sweeties, you will have your gloriedays in spring and summer!

50s hairdo

I have very fine hair that actually doesn't want to do anything else but being stiff.
But finally after lots and lots of hours of practice, I got it right! My own 50s inspired hair!
Still need some practice because during my night out I had to retouch my hair a lot -
but still I thought it looked great!

They are celebrating my favourite artist's 100 birthday with a book of his lifework. Another item for my wishlist!

Do you still remember this picture from October? I wanted to give my pictures an older feeling.
Well, my nephew read my post and since he is an expert with photoshop, he decided to help me.
After 3 try-outs, the picture got the look I was searching for!

Thank you, my (not so) little nephew!

Burlesk

Radio modern, organiser of retro swingparties, is finally bringing Burlesk to Belgium.

In all other European countries Burlesk is booming for quite some time now, but somehow it just

wasn't happening here.

Radio Modern organised a competition and started to search for their own Burlesk act.

Can't wait to see those sweet and funny ladies!

This weekend I celebrated my birthday, great fun - actually I had so much fun

that I forgot to take pictures (now I regret that I didn't take them...).
